Job Description
This is a hands-on leadership position — you won't just oversee quality, you'll actively own it. You'll work closely with our product team, understand requirements deeply, and make sure what we build matches what we promised. You'll join an existing QA team and collaborate closely with our current tester to raise the quality bar across our products.
Responsibilities
- •Collaborate daily with the product team to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
- •Design and execute test plans, test cases, and exploratory testing sessions
- •Work side by side with our existing QA tester on day-to-day testing efforts
- •Identify, document, and track bugs through their full lifecycle
- •Define and improve our QA process — we're scaling, so you'll have real ownership here
- •Contribute to decisions around test automation strategy
- •Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Qualifications
- •4+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role
- •Strong experience in manual testing — functional, regression, integration, and API testing
- •Ability to read and understand product specifications and translate them into solid test coverage
- •Experience with tools like JIRA, Postman or similar
- •Familiarity with Agile/Scrum workflows
- •Clear and proactive communicator — you ask the right questions before bugs happen
- •Bonus: experience with test automation
